Rosemary “Rozie” Royal has been working with pets professionally for more than 17 years. She graduated from VHS, left the island soon after and eventually returned home to raise her 2 year old daughter. Over the years, she has worked as a bather and assistant groomer in a variety of well-known pet care settings, including Petco Grooming, Downtown Dog Lounge in Seattle, and a few grooming locations in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Animals have always been at the heart of her work. She loves creating a calm, safe experience for every dog in her care and takes pride in the little details that help pups look and feel their best. Alongside her current Vashon pet-care business, Rozie works as a caregiver, and is currently earning her second degree in the healthcare field.
She’s excited to bring her experience to the community and to help make bathing visits something dogs—and their people—can count on and enjoy.

Abby has been working professionally with dogs for nearly two years in a busy dog daycare setting, caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and personalities. Through this experience, she has developed a strong understanding of canine behavior and the importance of creating a safe, positive environment for every dog.
As she begins her grooming journey, Abby is excited to build on her hands on experience and continue helping dogs look and feel their best. She approaches each dog with patience, compassion, and attention to detail, working to make every grooming experience as comfortable and stress free as possible.
Abby is committed to continuing her education in the grooming industry and looks forward to building lasting relationships with dogs and their families in the community.

Francesca "Frankie" Steen
Frankie has been working with dogs professionally for about a year, doing baths and brushing in a grooming setting. She now handles baths, brushing, and nail trims, and is learning the art of grooming from the groomer she works alongside.
Animals have been Frankie's passion for as long as she can remember. She grew up on Vashon and has spent the last five years caring for her own two Maltipoos, which has given her plenty of hands-on practice with a breed that needs regular grooming. She's friendly, easy to talk to, and good at reading a dog's body language so she can tell when they're comfortable or when they need a break.
Frankie is excited to keep growing her grooming skills and to help every dog have a calm, positive visit.

It all started with you. From the moment C’Mon Barber existed on our island, I was getting asked “When are you adding dogs??”
Thank you for inspiring me and trusting me with your human spiffiness since 2020. While I won’t personally be doing the pet services, the folks I’m investing in will be bringing their kindness, patience and joy of being your pet’s new BFF to our mobile bathing/brushing unit. The new 24-foot truck is complete, built with local builders and using local suppliers. We are parked behind the Vashon Chamber building - so join the email list and stay informed! From the beaches of KVI and Lisabuela to the mud puddles of Island Center Forest, we’ve got your pet covered…in natural/organic shampoo, that is! Bathing services pricing will be set initially by your dog’s size, then verified by their temperament and fur/skin condition upon arrival. Includes drying and brushing.

NAILS
Your pet leaving scratches on your hardwoods or on YOU?? Nail trims with filing for all the pets - cats, too. There will be a standard nail trims price (TBD) and that may change depending on your fluffy pal’s willingness to collaborate!

GROOMING/HAIRCUTS
We want to do it right for our community’s pets, so we’re holding off on pedigree and full-service grooming until we’re properly staffed. In some cases, we will be able to do pad shaving and some “bang trims”. Enquire upon booking!
