Rosemary “Rozie” Royal has been working with pets professionally for more than 17 years. She graduated from VHS, left the island soon after and eventually returned home to raise her 2 year old daughter. Over the years, she has worked as a bather and assistant groomer in a variety of well-known pet care settings, including Petco Grooming, Downtown Dog Lounge in Seattle, and a few grooming locations in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Animals have always been at the heart of her work. She loves creating a calm, safe experience for every dog in her care and takes pride in the little details that help pups look and feel their best. Alongside her current Vashon pet-care business, Rozie works as a caregiver, and is currently earning her second degree in the healthcare field.
She’s excited to bring her experience to the community and to help make bathing visits something dogs—and their people—can count on and enjoy.

It all started with you. From the moment C’Mon Barber existed on our island, I was getting asked “When are you adding dogs??”
Thank you for inspiring me and trusting me with your human spiffiness since 2020. While I won’t personally be doing the pet services, the folks I’m investing in will be bringing their kindness, patience and joy of being your pet’s new BFF to our mobile bathing/brushing unit. The new 24-foot truck is complete, built with local builders and using local suppliers. We are parked behind the Vashon Chamber building - so join the email list and stay informed! BATHING
From the beaches of KVI and Lisabuela to the mud puddles of Island Center Forest, we’ve got your pet covered…in natural/organic shampoo, that is! Bathing services pricing will be set initially by your dog’s size, then verified by their temperament and fur/skin condition upon arrival. Includes drying and brushing.

NAILS
Your pet leaving scratches on your hardwoods or on YOU?? Nail trims with filing for all the pets - cats, too. There will be a standard nail trims price (TBD) and that may change depending on your fluffy pal’s willingness to collaborate!

GROOMING/HAIRCUTS
We want to do it right for our community’s pets, so we’re holding off on pedigree and full-service grooming until we’re properly staffed. In some cases, we will be able to do pad shaving and some “bang trims”. Enquire upon booking!
